Changing a staff member's role
- Go to Staff
- Click the staff member's name
- Change the Role dropdown
- Adjust individual permissions if needed
- Click Save
Changes take effect immediately.
Custom permissions
For the Staff role, you can toggle individual permissions:
can_manage_doctors— Add and edit doctor profilescan_manage_appointments— View and manage bookingscan_view_chat— Read and respond to patient messagescan_manage_documents— Upload and share documentscan_manage_referrals— Create and respond to referralscan_manage_quotes— Respond to patient quote requestscan_manage_prescriptions— Issue and view prescriptionscan_manage_blog— Write and publish clinic blog posts
All other features (billing, staff management, integrations, security) are restricted to Owner and Manager.
