Changing a staff member's role

  1. Go to Staff
  2. Click the staff member's name
  3. Change the Role dropdown
  4. Adjust individual permissions if needed
  5. Click Save

Changes take effect immediately.

Custom permissions

For the Staff role, you can toggle individual permissions:

  • can_manage_doctors — Add and edit doctor profiles
  • can_manage_appointments — View and manage bookings
  • can_view_chat — Read and respond to patient messages
  • can_manage_documents — Upload and share documents
  • can_manage_referrals — Create and respond to referrals
  • can_manage_quotes — Respond to patient quote requests
  • can_manage_prescriptions — Issue and view prescriptions
  • can_manage_blog — Write and publish clinic blog posts

All other features (billing, staff management, integrations, security) are restricted to Owner and Manager.
