Integrations

Last updated 25 April 2026

The Integrations section lets your clinic connect an external practice management or booking system so that appointments and doctor information sync automatically into your Local Health Care portal. This prevents double-handling and keeps your portal data in sync with your primary system.

Integration works via a REST API connection: you provide your system's API endpoint and credentials, map the fields once using the visual field mapper, and Local Health Care handles ongoing syncing.

Who is this for?

Integrations are for clinics that already use a separate booking or practice management system and want to avoid manually duplicating data. If you manage all bookings through the Local Health Care portal, you do not need this feature.

The Integrations tab is only visible if this feature has been enabled for your clinic. Contact support if you'd like it enabled.

Who can access integrations?

Only the clinic Owner and staff with the can_manage_settings permission can configure integrations.
