Key Metrics

Last updated 24 April 2026

The four metric cards at the top of your dashboard summarise your clinic's performance for the current calendar month.

Total bookings

The total number of appointment bookings made this month, including all statuses (confirmed, pending, completed, cancelled).

Why it matters: A rising total indicates growing patient demand. A sudden drop may indicate a technical issue with booking availability.

Upcoming appointments

Appointments scheduled in the next 7 days that are in a confirmed or pending state.

Why it matters: Use this to plan staffing levels and ensure doctors have appropriate availability set.

Completed appointments

Appointments that have passed their scheduled time and were not cancelled. This is a proxy for actual patient visits.

Why it matters: Tracks real patient throughput, not just bookings. Compare this to Total Bookings to understand your cancellation rate.

Cancellations

Appointments cancelled by either the patient or your clinic this month.

Why it matters: A high cancellation rate may indicate scheduling issues, double-bookings, or communication problems. Review Managing Bookings for tips on reducing cancellations.

Note: Metrics reset at the start of each calendar month. Historical data is not currently available on the dashboard — contact support if you need monthly reports.
