Adding a Doctor

Before you begin

You'll need the following information:

  • Doctor's full name
  • Medicare provider number (optional but recommended for bulk billing clinics)
  • Specialisation(s)
  • Profile photo (optional, JPG or PNG, square crop preferred)
  • Short bio (optional)

Steps

  1. Go to Doctors in the clinic portal navigation
  2. Click Add Doctor in the top-right corner
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • First name and Last name
    • Specialisation — Select from the list (e.g., General Practitioner, Physiotherapist)
  4. Add optional details:
    • Profile photo
    • Short bio (shown on their public profile page)
    • Languages spoken
  5. Click Save

The doctor is now added to your clinic. Next, set their schedule so patients can book with them.

Editing a doctor

Click the doctor's name in the Doctors list to open their profile. All fields are editable. Changes take effect immediately.

Deactivating a doctor

To temporarily hide a doctor from patient search results without deleting their history:

  1. Open the doctor's profile
  2. Toggle Active to off
  3. Save

Reactivate them the same way.

Deleting a doctor

Deleting a doctor removes them permanently, including their appointment history. This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep their history, deactivate instead.
