Prescription Inbox

The Rx Inbox shows prescription requests sent by patients who need a repeat script or new prescription.

Viewing incoming requests

  1. Go to Prescriptions → Rx Inbox (or the Rx Inbox tab in the navigation)
  2. All pending requests appear in the list

Each request shows:

  • Patient name
  • Medication requested
  • Date of request
  • Any notes from the patient

Responding to a request

To issue the prescription:

  1. Click the request
  2. Review the details
  3. Click Issue Prescription and fill in the prescription details
  4. Send

To decline:

  1. Click the request
  2. Click Decline
  3. Add a brief reason (shown to the patient)
  4. Confirm

Inbox notifications

New prescription requests show a badge on the Rx Inbox tab. Staff with prescription permissions are notified automatically.
