Enabling Centaur AI

Prerequisites

• You must be the clinic Owner
• Your clinic must be on a plan that includes Centaur AI
• The feature must be activated by the Local Health Care team

Activation steps

Once the feature is enabled by support:

1. The Centaur tab will appear in your portal navigation
2. Click Centaur to open the setup screen
3. You'll be given a Centaur Practice ID — save this for reference
4. Click Activate Centaur to complete setup

What Centaur can do

• Summarise appointment activity and identify patterns
• Suggest optimal scheduling based on historical booking data
• Flag unusual cancellation patterns
• Generate weekly practice summaries

Privacy

Centaur AI processes your clinic's appointment and usage data only. It does not access patient clinical notes, chat messages, or prescriptions. All processing occurs within Local Health Care's infrastructure — data is never sent to third-party AI providers.
