Booking Preferences

Auto-confirm bookings
Default: Off
When enabled, new bookings are automatically confirmed without manual review. When off, each booking requires manual confirmation from your team.
Toggle in Settings → Booking Preferences → Auto-confirm bookings.
Booking lead time
The minimum notice required before a patient can book. For example, setting 2 hours means patients can only book appointments at least 2 hours in the future.
Booking window
How far in advance patients can book. For example, setting 30 days means patients can book up to 30 days ahead.
Cancellation policy
Set how many hours before an appointment a patient can cancel without penalty. If a patient cancels within this window, a note is added to their booking history.
Note: Local Health Care does not enforce financial penalties — this setting is for record-keeping purposes only.
New patient limit
Optionally set a maximum number of new patients who can book per month. This is useful for managing new-patient intake.
