Creating Referrals

1. Go to Referrals in the portal navigation
2. Click New Referral
3. Search for the referring-to clinic or doctor by name or specialisation
4. Enter patient details (name, date of birth, reason for referral)
5. Add any clinical notes (these are shared with the receiving provider)
6. Click Send Referral

The receiving clinic is notified immediately and can accept or decline.

Referral status

Status	Meaning
Sent	Referral sent, awaiting response
Accepted	Receiving clinic accepted and will see the patient
Declined	Receiving clinic declined — you'll receive a reason
Completed	Patient has been seen by the receiving provider

Tracking referrals

All referrals you've sent appear in the Referrals list with their current status. Click any referral to view the full history.
