Your Privacy Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and associated legislation, you have the following rights regarding your personal data.
Right of access
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Email info@localhealthcare.com.au with "Data access request" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days.
Right to correction
If your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can:
- Update it directly in your profile settings
- Request a correction by emailing us
Right to deletion
You can request that we delete your personal data. See Deleting Your Account for the full process.
Note: We may retain some data where required by law (e.g., financial records) or where clinics have a legal obligation to maintain appointment records.
Right to data portability
You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON). Email us at info@localhealthcare.com.au.
Right to complain
If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you can:
- Contact us directly at info@localhealthcare.com.au
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au
GDPR (EU/UK users)
If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to restrict processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
