Prescriptions

Your Prescriptions tab shows prescriptions your clinic has issued to you through the Local Health Care portal. You can view full prescription details, request repeats, and share prescriptions with other providers.
Important: Prescriptions recorded in Local Health Care are for record-keeping and communication. They do not replace the official paper or electronic prescriptions required under Australian law. You still need a valid prescription to collect medication from a pharmacy.
What you can do
- View medication name, dosage, instructions, prescriber, date, and repeats remaining
- Request a repeat prescription directly from the dashboard
- Share a prescription with another healthcare provider via a secure 48-hour link
