Booking an Appointment

From the booking page
- Go to localhealthcare.com.au/book or click Book appointment on any clinic profile
- Select the clinic (if not already selected)
- Choose a doctor or select "No preference"
- Pick a date and time from the available slots
- Add any notes for the clinic (optional — e.g., reason for visit)
- Click Confirm booking
You'll receive a confirmation email and the appointment will appear in your dashboard.
Appointment confirmations
Some clinics require manual confirmation. If this is the case:
- Your booking shows as Pending until the clinic confirms
- You'll receive an email when it's confirmed
- Most confirmations happen within a few hours during business hours
Booking for a family member
You can book on behalf of a family member if you've added them to your account. See Adding Family Members.
SMS booking
Some clinics accept bookings via SMS. If the clinic offers this, you'll see an SMS booking option on their profile page.
Tip: Sign in before booking to have your details pre-filled. Signed-in users also get access to appointment history and reminders.
