Cancellations

How to cancel

  1. Go to Dashboard → Appointments
  2. Find the appointment you want to cancel
  3. Click Cancel appointment
  4. Confirm

Both you and the clinic will receive a cancellation notification.

Cancellation windows

Some clinics set a minimum cancellation window (e.g., 24 hours' notice). If you cancel within this window:

  • The cancellation still goes through
  • A note is added to your booking record
  • The clinic may follow up

Local Health Care does not charge any fees for cancellations.

Rescheduling

To reschedule, cancel your existing appointment and book a new one. There is no rescheduling function yet — this is coming soon.

If the clinic cancels

If the clinic cancels your appointment:

  • You'll receive an email and a notification in your dashboard
  • The appointment is removed from your upcoming list
  • You're encouraged to rebook at a convenient time

Tip: If you need to cancel with short notice, send the clinic a message via Chat to let them know.
