Nearby Services

The Nearby tab in your dashboard shows healthcare providers close to the address saved in your patient profile. It is a quick way to discover clinics and services you may not have known about.
How to access
Go to Dashboard → Nearby.
If you haven't added an address to your profile yet, you'll be prompted to complete that first. Your address is only used to find nearby providers — it is not shared publicly.
What you'll see
The Nearby tab displays providers grouped by service type:
- GPs & Medical Centres — general practice and walk-in clinics
- Dental — dentists, orthodontists, and oral health providers
- Allied Health — physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, and more
- Specialists — cardiologists, dermatologists, surgeons, and other specialists
Each result shows the provider name, address, contact details, and links to their website or Google Maps listing where available.
Contacting a provider from Nearby
Click phone, email, or website on any result to contact them directly. If the clinic is on Local Health Care, you can also click through to their full profile to book an appointment or send a message.
Refining your search
The Nearby tab uses your profile address for proximity. If you want to search in a different location or apply filters (bulk billing, open now, accepting new patients), use the full clinic search at localhealthcare.com.au/clinics.
