Appointment Slot Alerts

The Appointment Reminders feature lets you register interest in a specific appointment slot. When the system detects a matching available slot at your chosen clinic, it notifies you automatically so you can book before someone else does.

This is useful when:

• A clinic is fully booked but you want the next available slot
• You need an appointment on a specific date
• You want to be notified the moment a cancellation opens up

Where to find it

Go to Dashboard → Preferences (accessible from the avatar menu in the top-right corner of your dashboard).

Setting up an alert

1. In Preferences, find the Appointment Reminders section
2. Click Add Reminder
3. Fill in the form:

Field	Notes
Clinic	Required — choose from clinics you've interacted with
Doctor	Optional — leave blank for any available doctor
Service	Optional — filter to a specific service type
Preferred date	The date you want the appointment
Preferred time	Time window from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Notify via	Email (default on), SMS, and/or in-app
Notes	Optional context for your own reference

4. Click Save — your alert is now active

Alert statuses

Status	Meaning
Waiting	Monitoring for a matching slot
Found & Sent	A slot was found and you were notified
Completed	You've booked the appointment
Cancelled	You removed the alert

When a slot is found

When the system finds a matching slot, you'll receive a notification via your chosen method. The alert card in the dashboard will show a green "Appointment Found!" banner with a Book Now button that takes you directly to that clinic's booking flow.

Note: Slot availability changes quickly. If a slot is filled by the time you click Book Now, you may need to wait for the next notification.

Removing an alert

Click the delete (bin) icon on any active reminder to remove it. Removing an alert stops future notifications for that slot.
